Deejay Kanu has established himself and gained valuable experience as a professional DJ since 2003 both as a mobile and club DJ. Dj Kanu’s skill set has provided him with the opportunity to secure appearances and residency at some of the most prominent clubs and restaurants in Gauteng, particularly Pretoria:

· Club Octo Lounge (Resident DJ ; 2004 – 2006)

· Short Left (Resident DJ : 2007 2010)

· Van Tuka Lounge (Resident DJ & Events Manager : 2014 – 2016)

· Liquid Zone (Resident DJ & Events Manager: 2017 – 2019

Dj Kanu has been privileged ,by invitation to travel through some of the prominent provinces in the country & to share the stage /play alongside most of SA’s and international best DJs.DJ KANU is regarded as a complete Entertainment Icon. This stems from his Abilities, Knowledge, Versatility and Attributes as :As A DJ– - Able to play various genres of music (Soulful /Deep House Music, Classic House, Downtempo /SlowJams) - Played at different platforms and events. From your small intimate to large crowds. - He was a Resident DJ on Radio 2000 (From the Year 2020 till Year 2023) on The GlenzitoSuperDrive afternoon drive show hosted by Glen Lewis . He is now currently a Resident DJ on MOTSWEDING FM on AMON MOKOENA SHOW LunchTime Show on Tuesdays. He has since successfully compiled mixtapes that proved to be popular in and around South Africa.. 


AS A CREATIVE AND CONCEPT MANAGER

HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SEVERAL GROUND BREAKING SUCCESSFUL CONCEPTS TURNED MAJOR EVENTS.
